Best Start Up

The Best Start Up Award will be given to the mum who has made the biggest impact in the shortest space of time. The award is open to all Mumpreneurs who have started their business on or after 5th April 2009. The winner will have created a fun, unique, essential or desirable business, product, website or approach.

Best Online Business

The Best Online Business Award will be given to the mum who runs the most deserving online business. The award is open to any mumpreneur who trades online with the majority of sales coming through their websites online shop. The winner will have a visually pleasing website which is easy to use and provide great products. They will be able to show the businesses success and proof that getting online is a great investment for any business.

Best Business Support

The Best Business Support Award will be given to the mum who runs a business dedicated to supporting others. This category is suitable for support networks, VA's, marketing support, accountancy, PR, authors, advice and support, etc. The winner will provide a fantastic support system for businesses both in the past and the present and will show great potential for future support. Their services should be affordable and accessible and if they are in a crowded market they will have found a way to make their business stand out from the rest.

Best Green Business

The Best Green business Award will be given to the mum with the most eco-friendly business, or the mum who has created a unique way of keeping it ethical. The award is open to all mumpreneurs who are trying to make a difference with their ethical products and services. The winner will have demonstrated a successful business with successful products and services that are desirable, as well as good for the environment.

Best Saleswoman

The Best Saleswoman Award will be given to the mum who runs the most deserving offline business. This award is open to any mumpreneur who sells the majority of her products on a business premises, at markets, fairs or other offline revenues. They may have a website to make additional sales, or to promote their business, and can prove their businesses success and their dedication to the job. Suitable for direct sales companies, shop owners or small business owners, the winner will be able to prove that it's just as important to get out into the big wide world to sell your products, whilst utilising the web for promotion.

Best Interactive Business

The Best Interactive Business Award will be given to the mum who runs the most deserving hands on business. This award is open to any mumpreneur whose work involves interacting with others such as event organising, running parties, classes, activities, workshops, health & beauty, photography, services that require close contact and interact with customers, and anything which is hands on or interactive. The winner will provide a service with a smile. They will be passionate about their business, be motivated to hit new heights, and may have a unique concept, or way of making a common concept unique. While the winners business may not all be about sales, they will understand the importance of incorporating a sales aspect into their business life, and really sell the concept of their business to potential customers. The winner will be personable and be comfortable to work closely with their clients.

Most Unique Product
The Most Unique Product Award will be given to the mum with the most interesting, fun, essential, unique or exciting product available to purchase through their business. This category is open to all mums who sell a product. Whether this is a product they have invented themselves, something handmade, a unique and new concept to a traditional product, or even just an item they stock and love, every entrant selling something should enter their favourite product into this category. The winner will be able to demonstrate why their product is unique, how they came about stocking the item, and why it is deserving of this title. Their product may be a best seller or could even be new to the market.

The Inspirational Business Mum
The Inspirational Business Mum Award will be given to the most inspirational mum in business. Every mumpreneur who is nominated, will be entered into this award category, as every mum in business is in some way inspirational. It's not an easy job, after all! The winner will have built up her own business and be able to prove this business is a success. She will have overcome obstacles to get to the stage in business that she is at now. She will have inspired others and will continue to inspire people in the future. She will have pushed limits and boundaries in business life and even family life, and will have even more potential for growth. She will have succeeded in networking, PR and online presence and may even have made a difference to other peoples lives. The winner will have made an impact on those around her and as well as being an inspiration in business, she may also be an inspiration as a parent.
